Container/Tube: Pink-top (EDTA) tube  Mint-top tube is not acceptable.

Specimen Volume: Full tube of blood

Collection Instructions:

Note: 1. Indicate EDTA blood.

2. Label specimen appropriately (EDTA blood).

3. Reject due to hemolysis--yes (gross).

Plain Blood

Container/Tube: Plain, red-top tube

Specimen: Full tube of blood
