Specimen Requirements

Submit the following specimen:

Plasma

Container/Tube: Mint-top (lithium heparin) tube

Specimen Volume: 1 mL of plasma

Collection Instructions:

Trough: Draw 30 minutes before AM dose.

Peak : Draw 2-4 hours after an intravenous loading dose.

Note: 

1. Indicate plasma.

2. Label specimen appropriately (plasma).

3. Centrifuge within 4 hours of collection.
