Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube: Serum gel tube- also acceptable: Lithium Heparin, EDTA, and Sodium Citrate plasma.
Specimen Volume: 2.5 mL (pediatric: 2 mL) of serum
Collection Instructions: Spin down and remove serum from clot within 24 hours. Send specimen in plastic vial.
