Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube: Mint Top Tube (plasma)
Specimen Volume: 1 mL of plasma
Collection Instructions: Collect blood specimen without stasis. Centrifuge within 15 minutes, and separate plasma. Send specimen in plastic vial.
Collection Note: Separated plasma is stable for 8 hrs at room temperature; 2 weeks refrigerated; and 1 month frozen.
