Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube: Amnisure® Test vial (obtained from Laboratory Services)
Collection Instructions: A sample of amniotic fluid (taken by vaginal swab) is placed into the Amnisure® test vial and delivered to the laboratory within 30 minutes (up to 6 hours, if refrigerated).
Specimen Transport Temperature
Refrigerate for up to 6 hours.
